Requirements: Our Research and Development team seeks a **Quality Engineer** to join our team at the largest Brazilian company developing software and products for the financial market — where we believe technological innovation inspires evolution. **This role will be responsible for:** Designing, developing, and maintaining a new automated testing framework for our APIs using Python. Writing clear, efficient, and scalable test scripts to validate our REST APIs (contracts, business logic, performance, and security). Focusing on integration testing to ensure our microservices communicate cohesively and reliably. Integrating the automated test suite into our CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Code Pipeline), ensuring rapid feedback to the development team. Developing internal Python tools to support testing activities — such as test data generation, service mocking, and validation scripts. Actively collaborating with developers to assess code testability, review pull requests, and promote a quality-oriented culture across the team. Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs in detail, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. Defining and monitoring quality metrics to guide our technical decisions. **To \#match, this position requires the following mandatory qualifications:** Solid professional experience in software test automation. Proficiency in Python programming. Experience automating tests for REST APIs. Familiarity with Python testing frameworks (e.g., Pytest). Practical knowledge of CI/CD concepts and experience integrating tests into pipelines. A proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and a strong willingness to collaborate within a team environment.
