Application of safety standards and use of PPE A metallurgical company is seeking a Galvanizing Operator in Sapiranga. We provide services aimed at optimizing processes and increasing organizational productivity. **Responsibilities:** Operation of galvanizing lines and chemical bath tanks; preparation and control of chemical solutions; monitoring of process parameters such as time, temperature, current, and current density; reading and interpreting production orders and technical instructions; performing basic measurements and inspections of metallic layer thickness and finish; coating quality control; part preparation and cleaning prior to processing (degreasing, pickling, and activation); replenishment and adjustment of chemicals in baths; identification of defects in the metallic deposition process; fundamental knowledge of electrochemistry applied to electroplating; use of measurement and control instruments; recording of production and process data; application of safety standards when handling chemicals; proper use of PPE; basic knowledge of effluent treatment and environmental control; as well as basic maintenance and cleaning of process equipment and tanks. High school diploma required.
