




**Description** **The opportunity:** Prepare technical and commercial proposals by conducting internal cost assessments, electromechanical assembly of products, or systems of higher complexity. Technically lead the Budget Analyst team, ensuring the best possible presentation of the offer, while focusing more on complex demands. This is a 100% onsite position in Blumenau/SC **How you will make an impact:** * Contribute to business competitiveness and viability through technical leadership of the budget team to ensure preparation of technical and financial aspects of the proposal, indicating prices and negotiation terms, and suggesting suitable alternatives. * Prepare project presentations for internal management and project engineering teams to enable cost estimation and forecast appropriate staffing, quantifying engineering and commissioning hours defined by the operations team. * Define and propose the most suitable technology and product type(s) to be used based on application characteristics, configuring them according to commercial requirements and required quality metrics, and when necessary, seek support from Application Engineering - Specialists. * Lead cross-functional internal analysis of technical risks and costs associated with the project. * Contribute to meeting requirements covering proposal items and analyze supplier scope interfaces, coordinating initial site visits to gather information, as well as obtaining internal department input on relevant item costs. * Identify and evaluate potential equipment and material suppliers for projects and their respective quotations, aligning them with specifications, and collaborate with the SCM (Procurement) team to organize quotation requests from subcontractors and sub-suppliers, supporting them with contractual and technical analyses. * Organize documentation regarding offer assumptions/purchase orders, as well as record decisions made during proposal development and preparation. * Lead and prepare the risk assessment process in accordance with HITACHI policy, performing analysis of contractual and legal clauses, project-related risks and costs, and when necessary, present the Risk Review to the local team and global risk management team for evaluation. * Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external standards, procedures, and guidelines. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree completed in Engineering, Business Administration, Technology, or related fields. * Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite * Intermediate Spanish language skills (desirable) * Knowledge of Transformers and Electrical Panels will be an advantage. **Qualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
