Thus emerged Santa Catarina’s first steel foundry and one of Brazil’s earliest. Over the past decade, the company acquired other enterprises to accommodate and expand its production line, while establishing overseas subsidiaries to strengthen customer support in key commercial regions such as Europe and North America. Altona continuously progresses, consistently identifying the most dynamic sectors of the economy to broaden its scope, develop new markets, and deliver its steel solutions across diverse industries.
