Job Summary: Responsible for operating the checkout and serving customers, including scanning merchandise, collecting payments, and reconciling transactions. Key Highlights: 1. About Us GTOP comprises the brands Rede TOP, ObenCard, and Preceiro Atacadista. Under multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating the checkout and serving customers in accordance with established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards—scanning merchandise, collecting payments, performing cash withdrawals, closing the checkout, and reconciling daily transaction records at the end of the shift. TASKS TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout by following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning/weighing products; consulting code tables; verifying product labels, scale weights, and system data correspondence; processing payments—including verifying prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back of checks when accepting checks, and authenticating cash when accepting cash; Ensure cash withdrawals during the shift and proper checkout closing—counting cash, totaling amounts, signing documentation, and submitting it to the Supervisor and/or depositing funds into a safe or 24-hour cash box—to prevent excessive exposed cash accumulation and ensure accurate reconciliation; Contribute to achieving targets for ongoing campaigns by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting them to the Supervisor for action; Help reduce front-end checkout losses through preventive actions such as minimizing bag waste, preventing theft, and promptly returning perishable items; Maintain the workplace and equipment in perfect working and clean condition, and request bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Perform related tasks as needed, such as restocking shelves and checkout stands, pricing and checking product expiration dates, preparing gift packages, etc. Requirements **Education:** Completed elementary school **Additional Information:** 100% in-person position **Work Location:** Presidente Getúlio \-SC **Working Hours:** 12:00 \- 20:20 **Benefits:** Attendance Bonus Dental Plan Pharmacy Benefit Program Shopping Discount Program (partner stores) Life Insurance * Position available for Persons with Disabilities (PCD)
