Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for operating the checkout and serving customers, ensuring service excellence and adherence to established protocols and regulations. Reducing losses at the front of the checkout About Us GTOP Group comprises the brands Rede TOP, ObenCard, and Preceiro Atacadista. With multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating the checkout and serving customers, following predefined protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning merchandise and collecting payments; performing cash withdrawals from the register; closing the register; and reporting daily financial activity at the end of the shift. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellent customer service at the checkout by following predefined protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning/weighing products; consulting the product code table; checking product labels, scale weight, and system matching; processing payments; in case of checks, verifying prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back; and verifying authenticity of cash; Ensure cash withdrawals from the register during the shift and its closure, including counting cash, reconciling totals, signing reports, and submitting them to the Supervisor and/or depositing into a safe or 24-hour cash box—thereby preventing excessive exposed cash accumulation and ensuring accountability; Contribute to achieving targets of ongoing campaigns by offering available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting them to the Supervisor for action; Help reduce front-of-checkout loss rates by proactively minimizing plastic bag waste, potential thefts, and promptly returning perishables; Maintain the workplace and equipment in perfect working and clean condition, and request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in packing goods for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks as needed, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand restocking, product pricing and expiry date verification, gift wrapping, etc. Requirements **Education:** Completed elementary school **Additional Information:** 100% in-person position **Work Location:** Preceiro Atacadista \- Neighborhood: Nações 399 \- BR470 **Benefits:** Health Insurance Dental Insurance Pharmacy Benefit Program Retail Store Purchase Discount Program Life Insurance * Position available for persons with disabilities (PCD)
