Focusing on Total Quality and compliance with standards. **Location:** Blumenau, Santa Catarina, Brazil **Job ID:** R0120520 **Date Posted:** 2026\-02\-20 **Company Name:** HITACHI ENERGY BRASIL LTDA. **Profession (Job Category):** Engineering \& Science **Job Schedule:** Full time **Remote:** No **Job Description:** **The Opportunity:** Perform various types of low-complexity tests and trials (e.g., routine, functional, mechanical, laboratory inspections, etc.) on the company’s products and systems under supervision; prepare the infrastructure required for such activities; and, when necessary, support Test Engineers by monitoring and collecting information for documenting results — all aimed at meeting project technical requirements and specifications, supporting production, and releasing products for customer operations. **How You Will Make an Impact:** * Perform routine tests/trials on products according to test plans in cooperation with operators, assistants, or other resources; prepare test reports compliant with applicable standard(s) for the tested product, following received instructions and with supervision for more complex cases. * Fulfill planned laboratory testing demands per received instructions to meet routine scheduling and execute less complex tests, daily tracking and reporting actual vs. planned volumes. * Comply with standards and procedures by performing physicochemical tests/trials under supervision and following detailed instructions received, as well as other standardized tests. * Report any deviations identified during test execution to production and technical departments, cooperating in problem resolution and seeking to identify and recommend solutions related to product nonconformities. * Participate in and support final inspections of tested products per drawings, specifications, and other project parameters. * Maintain up-to-date monthly production entries in the company’s SAP management system, updating information on tested products to ensure traceability of data and results, while complying with predefined work instructions and internal procedures (if applicable to this unit). * Support the Quality department by opening and closing quality nonconformance reports in the system, as well as logging customer complaints, in accordance with standards, work instructions, predefined procedures, guidance from more experienced technicians and/or departmental management. * Focus on Total Quality (product, deadlines, delivery, service to internal and external customers), and coordinate and communicate maintenance-related activity demands for equipment and tools used. * Provide support to external certification auditors/inspectors during product testing activities for ABB or external customer products conducted within the department’s premises. * Assist in equipment and product assembly when required. * Work in accordance with the Safety Master Plan, using required personal protective equipment (PPE) for task execution. * Be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external standards, procedures, and guidelines. **Requirements:** * Completed high school education * Completed or ongoing technical education (desirable) The company is open to workplace accommodations; apply now and join our selection process to become part of our team! **Qualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
