Assemble structures according to project specifications or maintenance requirements. Prepare surfaces for welding (cleaning, cutting, and grinding). Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, shielded metal arc welding, among others). Verify alignment and quality of welds performed. Assist in manufacturing supports, structures, and metal parts. Comply with safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean and organized workplace. Previous experience as a Metalworker, Structural Assembler, Metal Structure Welder, or Welding Operator may indicate suitability for some of the activities in this position.
