Develop maintenance plans; maintain workplace organization; manage the use of tools and equipment; and strictly comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Maintenance and Repair: Disassemble, assemble, adjust, and repair engine and system components, such as cylinder heads, engine blocks, fuel injection systems, and turbochargers. Fault Diagnosis: Identify and diagnose faults in engines and auxiliary systems using diagnostic tools and instruments to analyze performance. Preventive Maintenance: Carry out preventive maintenance tasks—such as oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections of critical systems—to ensure proper vehicle operation. Testing and Adjustments: Conduct performance tests on components and systems, as well as adjustments and calibrations, to verify successful repairs. Management and Organization: Develop and follow maintenance plans; keep equipment and tools in operational condition; control material waste; and organize the workplace. Safety and Regulations: Comply with and ensure adherence to technical standards and regulatory requirements regarding occupational health, safety, and environmental protection; follow all safety procedures; correctly use personal protective equipment (PPE); and suspend activities whenever hazards arise. Safeguard one’s own health and safety, as well as that of others who may be affected by one’s actions or omissions at work. Fully comply with all applicable legal and regulatory provisions when performing work at height—including atop truck tanks—and rigorously follow the company’s standard operating procedures. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of services performed; complete service orders; and prepare technical reports. Interaction with Internal Customers (Drivers): Communicate with drivers and provide estimated repair completion times. ### **Prerequisites** Possess a valid Brazilian driver’s license, Category B. Minimum 2 years of professional experience in related activities. Proficiency in operating pneumatic tools, sanders, screwdrivers, drills, angle grinders, and hydraulic jacks. Ability to properly handle lubricating oils, greases, and diesel fuel. Physical mobility and flexibility to perform tasks while standing, squatting, or lying supine—accessing the underside of trucks.
