Description
Carry out purchases according to demand, ensuring the best price for procurement. Perform follow-up, monitoring delays and their impact on inventory replenishment. Help prevent stockouts by redirecting orders to other suppliers.
**Responsibilities and duties**
* Receive purchase requests from the Analyst generated via GTPlan to execute item procurement;
* Obtain quotations for products and services requested by IMP departments to ensure optimal conditions;
* Send approved purchase orders (POs) to suppliers;
* Monitor product delivery through follow-up in GTPLAN;
* Analyze delivery delays and report them to the Supply Analyst to enable new decisions aimed at preventing stockouts of standardized institutional products;
* Report all changes occurring during the procurement, delivery, and receipt processes to the Supply Analyst;
* Review all purchases to support procurement at the best market value based on institutional standards;
* Provide the Supply Analyst with information regarding purchases that will not arrive in time for inventory replenishment;
* Perform follow-up procedures for critical items using the daily-updated spreadsheet;
* Monitor all Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders, defining their status: Delivery, Cancellation, Redirection to another supplier, etc.;
* Perform other related activities as requested.
**Requirements and qualifications**
**MANDATORY TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS**
Technical or higher education degree in related fields;
Knowledge of procurement and negotiation processes;
Experience in supplier management and delivery tracking;
Proficiency in procurement management tools and spreadsheets.
**DESIRED TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS**
Experience in procurement;
Knowledge of procurement planning systems;
Market and trend analysis skills;
Training course in logistics and supply chain management.
