Job Description You will be responsible for executing long- and medium-term mine planning activities / economic evaluations, aiming to certify ore reserves as well as provide appropriate support for short-term planning / mining operations, including fleet sizing (primary and auxiliary) for LP and MP. **Key Responsibilities:** * Execute activities related to medium- and long-term mining planning (optimization; sequencing; operationalization, among others) and conduct economic analysis, promoting optimal utilization of the company’s geological resources, minimizing operational and investment costs, maximizing profits, and ensuring reserve certification. * Prepare multi-year mining plans, focusing on quality and productivity gains, while verifying adherence to and alignment with medium- and long-term plans, ensuring competitiveness against other mining players, LoAP. * Conduct technical and economic feasibility studies for projects, identifying potential opportunities, with emphasis on maximizing mineral asset value, risk awareness, and opportunity identification in M\&A (mergers and acquisitions) and divestment (asset sales), and RDP publication. * Support “due diligence” processes through mining planning scenario studies and others, ensuring legality, transparency, materiality, and competence in such studies. * Size mine fleet (surface mobile equipment), preparing robust technical fleet-sizing reports and leading efforts for CAPEX approval by Investment Assurance for equipment procurement. * Promote a mining culture focused on strategic long-term planning. * Plan, discuss, and monitor mining plan results with the short-term planning team, disseminating and democratizing information to ensure proper cascading of long-term plans into medium-term plans. * Develop a holistic view of IOB’s businesses, their interdependencies, and the necessity of long-term planning as a foundation for their sustainability, ensuring coordinated execution of mining planning and achievement of the Mining Sustainable Plan. * Foster harmonious interaction with the operational unit team, reinforce corporate process vision, and minimize risks, costs, and investments to enhance operational performance, reduce mining costs, and increase productivity. * Identify opportunities for developing continuous operational performance improvement projects, jointly with the operational unit.
