Job Summary: The professional will assist in food pre-preparation, cleaning, beverage and side dish preparation, and kitchen equipment organization. Key Highlights: 1. Opportunity to develop culinary and organizational skills. **Job Description:** ---------------------- Sort, weigh, and record on a spreadsheet all food items withdrawn from inventory and requested by cafeteria staff and cooks. Assist cooks in food pre\-preparation, performing hygiene procedures for fruits, vegetables, and legumes using sodium hypochlorite; peeling, chopping, breading, and other food processing tasks. Prepare coffee and tea and fill thermal flasks, distributing them across other departments. Prepare vegetables and side dishes using culinary techniques such as cutting, grating, and peeling to expedite meal preparation; assist cooks in salad preparation.
