Who will you work with? You will work with the TCOS\-Office software development team at Wabtec Brasil, responsible for all software components of the train dispatch system used in railway control and operation centers for freight transportation. The system grants operating licenses for trains, authorizes train entry onto tracks, displays real-time train positioning across the entire network, presents maintenance-related and track-closure events, and enables general real-time messaging between the control center and locomotives. How will you make a difference? We seek a passionate software development professional to join our team and contribute to developing our solutions. The ideal candidate has experience in C\#, VB.NET, .NET Core, and related frameworks, as well as front\-end experience (Angular, REST). As a member of the TCOS\-Office Software Engineering team, you will be responsible for: * Assisting in the conception, implementation, infrastructure, and scaling of software applications developed by the TCOS\-Office Brazil group; * Collaborating on software architecture, design, and development, systems analysis, QA, and DevOps; * Analyzing, documenting, and re\-implementing legacy software using a decentralized architecture; * Analyzing business requirements and translating them into innovative technical solutions; * Developing and maintaining applications using C\+\+, VB.NET, C\# .NET, and Angular; * Creating intuitive and responsive user interfaces using modern front\-end technologies; * Collaborating on unit and integration testing to ensure code quality; * Working collaboratively with other developers and stakeholders; * Staying current with the latest software development trends and proposing continuous improvements; * Participating in design review meetings to ensure source code quality and suitability; * Taking ownership of pull request validation; * Providing support to less experienced developers. What do we want to know about you? * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields; * Extensive front\-end development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, REST, or Vue.js); * Software development experience (.NET, C\# \- full stack); * Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle); * Experience with application and process interconnections (Socket, API, etc.) in distributed solutions; * Interest in identifying and implementing new technologies suitable for the business; * Experience with Agile methodology (Scrum) and its ceremonies; * Knowledge of cybersecurity in applications. Additionally, desirable qualifications include: * Experience with Azure DevOps for integrating requirements with test cases; * Knowledge of microservices; * Experience in designing and implementing SOA architectures; * Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure), SaaS; * Knowledge of requirements documentation, use cases, and story creation; * Portuguese proficiency (for participation in client and third-party meetings, when required); * General knowledge of software development documentation (descriptive memos, architecture documents, specifications, user manuals, etc.); * Experience with software solutions applied to process industries; * Experience with railway information systems; * Experience with client\-server architecture. *“A strong candidate has been identified for this role, but all interested and qualified individuals are encouraged to apply.”* Benefits: At Wabtec, people come first.
