Operating in Brazil for over 10 years, it employs approximately 250 professionals nationwide, delivering product development services to OEMs and automotive component suppliers. **Job Description** Responsible for managing and planning the hardware development of the BSM (Brake System Module), including mounting brackets and protective covers for the control unit—from initial definition through final release. The objective is to ensure components meet technical and quality requirements while enabling efficient vehicle integration and on-time development delivery. * Technical Leadership: Lead the full component development cycle—from definition to release. * Documentation Management: Conduct Technical Reviews and manage specifications and technical requirements. * Manufacturing Support: Analyze and support component introduction into the production line. * Failure Analysis: Coordinate technical investigations, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and define corrective actions. * Problem Resolution: Perform technical analysis of component-specific issues. * Supplier Management: Maintain direct relationships to align on technical matters, HW definitions, and resolution of open items. * Multidisciplinary Interface: Serve as a bridge between electrical/electronic, software, validation, manufacturing, systems, and functional safety (ISO 26262\) teams. * Planning: Participate in internal planning, managing risks and rigorously tracking the schedule. * Quality and Safety (HSE) * Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all release processes comply with IDIADA’s quality and safety standards. **Qualifications** Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields. Languages: Advanced English for technical negotiations with suppliers and reading international standards. Soft Skills: Leadership, analytical capability, excellent interpersonal communication, and organizational skills.
