For nearly 60 years, the Foundation has developed, applied, and disseminated new knowledge in Production Engineering across individuals, companies, organizations, and governments, contributing to solving economic, environmental, technical, and social challenges in Brazil and abroad. Grounded in a systemic, integrative, and multidisciplinary perspective of Production Engineering. The GTE is one of the major operational fronts of FCAV, developing applied projects in operations, management systems, innovation, and public policies, primarily focusing on technological initiatives. In this segment, the Vanzolini Foundation has strong involvement — in partnership with governmental entities — in developing projects addressing public sector needs, especially in Health and Education. Job Description We are looking for a Mid/Senior Java Developer to join our development team. The professional will be responsible for analyzing, developing, testing, and maintaining web applications and backend services, participating in the entire software lifecycle — from conception to production deployment — while working on high-complexity and scalable solutions. Mandatory Technical Requirements Backend Java 11\+ (Java 17 preferred). Spring Framework / Spring Boot. JPA / Hibernate. Creation and consumption of REST APIs. Maven or Gradle. Frontend (desirable) HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6\+). Modern frameworks (Angular or React). Bootstrap. Databases Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle). Knowledge of NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) is a plus. Others Git/GitLab/GitHub. Unit and automated testing (JUnit, Mockito). Software architecture concepts (REST, Microservices). Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI). Application security (OAuth2, JWT, OWASP). Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). Responsibilities Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using Java and modern frameworks. Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrations with external services. Participate in requirements analysis, system modeling, and architecture definition. Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces (when required). Ensure best programming practices, version control, and code quality (Clean Code, SOLID). Lead code reviews and support more junior developers. Collaborate with QA, infrastructure, and product teams to deliver robust, high-performance solutions. Identify and propose performance and security improvements.
