To that end, we have a Diversity Committee operating across four pillars: Persons with Disabilities (PCD), Ethnic-Racial, Women, and LGBTQIAP+, and we are also part of MOVER – Movement for Racial Equity. **What You Need to Know About This Role:** You will participate in the creation and enhancement of LA Finance Data Lake products as a Data Engineer, developing data ingestion pipelines to bring data from transactional solutions into Mondelez’s analytics environment hosted on Google Cloud Platform, and creating tables and visualizations with KPIs, metrics, and calculations to support the Latin America finance team. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Develop ingestion pipelines using Aecorsoft, Python, and Stored Procedures in BigQuery to curate data and apply necessary transformations to deliver consumable data products. 2. Design data models based on business requirements specifications and define consumable data products for reuse. 3. Be responsible for enabling a robust, strategically aligned, and efficient solution design for delivery and maintenance, ensuring data integrity and quality. 4. Research and propose solutions to overcome technical challenges. 5. Implement best practices for continuous improvement of performance, resource consumption, and data availability, considering long-term strategic objectives. 6. Resolve issues and implement solutions for complex requirements. 7. Create and maintain plans to better enable system architecture longevity and performance, delivering key business drivers. 8. Collaborate with relevant partners and stakeholders to ensure project and operational performance targets are met. **What Extra Ingredients You’ll Bring:** 1. Proven, solid experience in Data Engineering, coding data ingestion pipelines on cloud-native platforms. 2. Proven experience in data analytics on Google Cloud, using Talend, Python, and stored procedures. Experience with Databricks, Power BI, and Tableau is desirable. 3. Programming experience and experience handling large volumes of data, implementing streaming and batch ingestion, with knowledge of release management and experience using DevOps frameworks such as GitHub. 4. Understanding of Big Data best practices and solutions, with broad mastery of core data disciplines—such as data modeling, data governance, data quality, master data management, analytical architecture, and advanced analytics—with up-to-date knowledge of category-leading best practices to bring this perspective to MDLZ. 5. Experience working in Agile teams and general project management competencies, including risk management. 6. Demonstrated ability to understand key financial performance metrics and ensure continuous process improvement enabled by technology. Prior experience in finance, SAP, and the CPG sector is a plus. 7. Ability to work amid ambiguity and with multiple stakeholders in a global, multicultural environment across different time zones.
