Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Developer with a Tech Lead profile to evolve digital products through hands-on development and technical leadership, focusing on existing systems and technical debt reduction. Focus on continuous improvement, technical debt reduction, and optimization We are looking for a Senior Developer with a Tech Lead profile to drive the evolution of digital products, combining strong hands-on development with practical technical leadership. This role will serve as the technical reference point for a stack based on PHP/Laravel, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, while also contributing to the gradual architectural evolution toward React, React Native, and more modern product solutions. We seek someone mature enough to operate in continuously evolving environments—capable of improving existing systems, reducing technical debt, guiding the team, and making pragmatic, sustainable, and business-aligned technical decisions. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform hands-on development of web, backend, and integration features; * Develop and maintain applications using PHP/Laravel and MySQL; * Support the evolution of current frontends toward more modern architectures with React; * Contribute to mobile initiatives using React Native; * Define coding, organization, testing, API, and documentation standards; * Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to less experienced developers; * Support architectural decisions alongside technical and Product leadership; * Identify and reduce technical debt impacting stability, productivity, and scalability; * Improve application, API, and database performance; * Support integrations with internal, external, and data platform systems; * Contribute to improvements in deployment, versioning, CI/CD, and monitoring; * Participate in incident analysis, critical bugs, and production issues; * Collaborate closely with Product, QA, Data, DevOps, and Business teams; * Ensure technical evolution occurs incrementally, sustainably, and value-oriented. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Senior-level software development experience; * Solid experience with PHP; * Experience with Laravel; * Experience with MySQL; * Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; * Experience with REST APIs; * Familiarity with Git, code review, and versioning best practices; * Ability to analyze production issues and propose structured solutions; * Experience providing technical guidance to other developers; * Strong architectural vision, with emphasis on quality, security, and system maintainability; * Ability to operate in a product environment characterized by continuous evolution and business-driven priorities. **Nice-to-Have** ----------------------- * Knowledge of React; * Knowledge of React Native; * Knowledge of GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Firebase, or similar); * Knowledge of Azure or DigitalOcean; * Experience with Docker; * Experience with GitHub Actions or CI/CD pipelines; * Knowledge of automated testing with PHPUnit, Jest, or similar tools; * Experience with queues, asynchronous jobs, and background processing; * Knowledge of Redis, caching, query optimization, and performance tuning; * Experience with observability, logging, metrics, and tracing; * Experience in gradual legacy migration to modern architectures; * Experience with SaaS products, B2B/B2C platforms, or transactional systems. **Additional Information** * Contract type: PJ (Individual Entrepreneur) * Work model: Hybrid — 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week.
