Ready for a career that delivers greater rewards? **Check out this opportunity and \#JoinPagBank!** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop and automate models and rules to support Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Operational Risk monitoring, and Compliance initiatives. * Conduct quantitative analyses to identify patterns and improve alert effectiveness. * Support monitoring of non-financial risks through analytical dashboards, executive dashboards, and reports. * Propose and implement improvements in case analysis and prioritization processes, focusing on scalability and efficiency. * Support the development and tracking of risk and effectiveness metrics (e.g., alert coverage, response time, false positive rate). * Collaborate closely with technical, legal, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance and continuous process improvement. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree completed in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, or related fields. * Experience with SQL and Python for data analysis, automation, and processing. * Familiarity with statistical modeling, supervised machine learning, and predictive analytics. * Experience analyzing large volumes of data, prioritizing alerts, and supporting regulatory and operational decision-making. * Ability to create technical reports and presentations tailored to diverse audiences. * Advanced Excel proficiency. **Additional Information** **To stand out in this role, it would be great if you also have:** * Minimum 2 years of experience in data science, data analysis, or statistical modeling within regulated environments or risk frameworks. * Experience with analytics for AML/FT, non-financial risks, compliance, or internal controls. * Experience working at financial institutions, technology companies, or fintechs. * Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar. * Intermediate/advanced English proficiency. * **Hybrid work model availability (3 days per week) in São Paulo \- SP.** You might know us from our payment terminals or memorable commercials—but we’re so much more!
