Therefore, here you will find people from different places and backgrounds who believe in the importance of unity and in the power of support and inclusion. **Responsibilities and Duties** To work as an Occupational Health and Safety Technician at ALS, we expect you to meet the following basic requirements: * Maintain and monitor monthly Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) indicators and submit appropriate reports on the ALS SharePoint; * Prepare charts and statistics regarding near-misses, accidents, behavioral observations, and unsafe conditions; * Develop presentations and technical training materials on Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS); * Deliver training to new employees on occupational accident prevention standards through the Basic Integration Training and other related trainings; * Evaluate and manage technical documentation of third-party service providers operating on-site; * Support the preparation of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) documents; * Inform all departments and area managers about existing hazards and their associated risks, aiming to implement appropriate control measures; * Monitor and analyze work methods and processes, identifying potential accident scenarios; * Visit existing contracts and inspect local work routines to ensure compliance with safety regulations; * Implement occupational accident and disease prevention programs involving employees through campaigns, lectures, seminars, meetings, and training sessions; * Prepare Preliminary Risk Analyses (PRA) and evaluate PRAs submitted by service provider companies, approving preventive measures and adding new ones when necessary; * Analyze workplace accidents, prepare accident statistics and diagnostics, and investigate root causes; * Develop action plans to prevent recurrence of accidents; * Monitor and participate in Daily Safety Dialogues (DSD), advising and guiding departments to minimize risks and work-related incidents; * Ensure inspections of safety and fire-fighting equipment, verifying proper functionality and requesting corrective actions to guarantee workplace safety; * Manage the Fire Brigade (organizing drills, meeting minutes, drill reports, etc.) and respond to health and fire emergencies when required; * Ensure compliance with labor laws and occupational health and safety regulations, as well as adherence to ALS policies; * Conduct workplace inspections at the facility(ies); * Identify the need for, distribute, control, and supervise the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); You stand out if you have: Experience mobilizing personnel with clients and preparing required HSE documents (e.g., Risk Assessment Plan [PGR], Occupational Health Program [PCMSO], Occupational Health Certificate [ASO], training records, etc.) **RESIDENCE IN THE JOÃO MONLEVADE AREA - MG IS MANDATORY** **Requirements and Qualifications** To work as an Occupational Health and Safety (HSE) Technician at ALS, we expect you to meet the following basic requirements: Availability for travel; Technical qualification in occupational health and safety—active registration required; Driver’s license category B; Strong sense of responsibility and commitment; Proficiency in computer applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); Initiative and strong interpersonal communication skills; A genuine interest in people. **Additional Information** **WORK SCHEDULE**: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM **LOCATION**: CONTAGEM UNIT – BELO HORIZONTE Meal/Voucher Allowance—you can choose which one to use each day!
