Additionally, the professional is responsible for preparing the examination room and equipment, including organizing and sterilizing materials, ensuring everything is ready for examinations. During the procedure, the assistant supports the physician by providing necessary instruments and materials and positioning patients according to instructions. Organizing patient records—maintaining up-to-date and properly filed examination data—is also part of the role. Inventory management of supplies and ensuring compliance with safety, hygiene, and health standards complete the responsibilities of this position.
