




Job Summary: A nursing professional responsible for various assistance techniques, patient preparation and monitoring for ophthalmological examinations and surgeries, and management of materials and equipment. Management and preparation of materials and equipment for surgical procedures. Ophthalmological Hospital seeks a Nursing Technician in Blumenau (Itoupava Norte). Botelho is a company specialized in medical and healthcare services, offering high-quality care and solutions in the field of medicine. **Responsibilities:** Perform assistance techniques according to protocols. Receive and verify patient data for the procedure to be performed. Instruct the patient and family members regarding post-examination/surgery care. Assemble, verify, and deliver the examination report or surgical outcome to the patient or family member. Assist with pre-examinations. Understand the routine for sending materials for external sterilization. Adhere to the activity schedule and report complications to the nurse. Check, observe, and control expiration dates of all materials. Prepare, test, and operate emergency support equipment. Attend mandatory training sessions whenever summoned. Provide patient care (examinations and surgeries). Circulate in the operating room and procedure rooms. Assist physicians during high-complexity examinations. Place orders for departmental replenishment. Instruct patients/family members post-examination/surgery. Monitor the recovery room (SRA) and track vital signs (SSVV). Administer medications. Initiate fluid therapy. Prepare, set up, and dismantle the operating room according to the procedure. Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative instructions. Instrument and set up the surgical table. Assist the anesthesiologist. Assemble kits (pharmacy / CME). Perform cleaning and disinfection of materials and surfaces. Conduct controls and record in spreadsheets: gases, temperatures, material dispatch, and biological tests. Perform peripheral venous puncture. Request sterilization for specialized services via the system. Perform washing and drying of materials. Prepare all materials, pack, label, and sterilize according to cycle type. Store materials in the central supply area and distribute them to units. Previous experience as an Assistant Nurse, Nursing Assistant, Health Technician, or Emergency Nurse may indicate suitability for some activities of this position.
