Join this team! **COME TRANSFORM LIVES — INCLUDING YOUR OWN.** **Responsibilities and duties** **The main challenges as a** ***DATA SPECIALIST \- ACADEMIC FOCUS*** **are:** * Transform databases and spreadsheets into automated, easily accessible reports; * Ensure strategic information reaches decision-makers quickly and error-free; * Act as the liaison between business needs and technical areas, ensuring assertive communication flows across teams; * Extract and process data using Databricks (SQL/Spark) to feed internal reports; * Create and update Power BI dashboards for monitoring key KPIs of the executive leadership; * Communicate data requirements and support other teams in interpreting and aligning generated indicators; * Ensure reported figures are accurate and up-to-date, correcting potential flaws in source data; * Support management in building specific views for strategic projects and performance tracking. **Requirements and qualifications** **We seek professionals with:** * Completed undergraduate degree in related fields; * Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating databases; * Hands-on experience using Databricks for data processing; * Advanced Power BI expertise (dashboard creation, filters, and DAX formulas); * Advanced Excel skills for rapid analysis and validation; * Ability to clearly and simply explain technical data to stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. **Preferred qualifications include:** * Experience in table structuring, data modeling, and performance optimization; * Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for automation and complex analyses; * Familiarity with the educational ecosystem and its core metrics. **Additional information** Work location: Hybrid — Rio de Janeiro downtown.
