Our Manifold, Distribution and Connection Systems team plays a key role in shaping next‑generation subsea equipment, enabling customers to operate efficiently and confidently in complex offshore environments. **Partner with the best!** As a **Senior Mechanical Engineer \- Systems, Project Engineering,** you will drive engineering development for new products and technologies for **NPI/NTI Manifold, Distribution and Connection Systems**. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure technical excellence, customer alignment and flawless execution across design, manufacturing and testing. **As a Senior Mechanical Engineer \- Systems, Project Engineering, you will be responsible for:** **Engineering Design \& Development** * Establishing technical requirements based on customer functional specifications, project needs and applicable international codes and standards. * Leading and contributing to design development activities including 3D CAD modelling, drawings and technical documents, ensuring alignment with requirements, timelines and quality expectations. * Presenting design outcomes in technical design reviews when relevant. * Leading and executing cost‑out initiatives, monitoring engineering plans, schedules and budgets. **Cross‑Functional Collaboration** * Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to align interfaces, design solutions, activities and deliverables. * Providing engineering support to program management and other key stakeholders across the project lifecycle. * Offering consultancy and technical guidance to tender/front‑end engineering teams. **Supplier \& Execution Support** * Managing engineering suppliers from a technical perspective, providing clear guidance and ensuring compliance with technical and contractual requirements. * Supporting procurement, fabrication and testing activities related to newly developed subsea products. **Fuel your passion** To be successful in this role you will: * **Have** a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. * **Have** expertise in 3D CAD modelling and/or Finite Element Analysis (FEA). * **Have** strong knowledge of subsea equipment and relevant design methodologies. * **Have** a robust mechanical design background (15\+ years preferred). * **Have** proactive behavior with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. * **Have** strong interpersonal and leadership skills. * **Have** strong oral and written communication skills; English fluency is desired. * **Have** strong knowledge of CREO, Teamcenter and Ansys Workbench (desired). * **Have** previous experience with Petrobras subsea projects (desired). **Work in a way that works for you** We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
