Job Summary: The Rack-and-pinion Elevator Operator is responsible for the safe operation of the elevator, ensuring vertical transportation of materials and personnel, as well as performing inspections and load control. Controlling and guiding loading and unloading while respecting limits **Main Responsibilities of the Rack-and-pinion Elevator Operator:** * **Safe Operation:** Operate control devices to raise and lower the elevator, ensuring vertical transportation of materials and personnel in compliance with safety regulations (NR\-18\). * **Inspection and Check\-list:** Perform daily equipment checks (brakes, control panel, doors) before commencing operations to prevent accidents. * **Load Control:** Guide and verify the loading and unloading process, ensuring compliance with weight limits and maximum occupancy. * **Organization and Cleanliness:** Maintain cabin interior cleanliness to prevent dirt accumulation that could damage sensors, in accordance with regulations. * **Site Safety:** Avoid improper mixing of cargo and personnel, and exercise heightened attention at cabin doors.
