Job Summary: Responsible for receiving and directing items, moving and assembling furniture, managing waste, and ensuring the efficient and secure delivery of materials with safety and discretion. Ensuring efficient and secure delivery of materials * Receive items, goods, materials, and equipment and direct them to their appropriate destinations; * Meet requirements for removal of furniture and equipment; * Disassemble, assemble, and install furniture; * Handle and dispose of waste generated at the workplace; * Store materials and packages on shelves and bookcases; * Move furniture and general materials manually or with hand-operated carts for transporting heavy loads; * Load and unload materials and packages onto automobiles and trucks from other departments; * Familiarize oneself with routines at the service location; * Respond promptly and efficiently to requests, acting with discretion and care toward transported equipment and furniture; * Perform tasks with the highest degree of reliability and safety, in a timely and effective manner, to avoid compromising scheduled work; * Arrange delivery of materials, internal relocations, and other duties related to the position.
