Job Summary: Kitchen Assistant responsible for food preparation and organization, cleaning, and quality control in the kitchen and cafeteria. Key Highlights: 1. Application of food hygiene standards **KITCHEN ASSISTANT** Temporary position for 90 days with potential for permanent hiring. **Salary**: R$1.881,15 **Working Hours**: Rotating 6x1 schedule from 08:00 to 16:20 **Benefits:** Transportation Allowance + On-site Meal **Location**: Todos os Santos, RJ **Professional Responsibilities**: * Responsible for preparing breakfast (morning coffee) and juice; * Selects, peels, cuts, and cleans fruits, vegetables, and greens; * Organizes prepared items on hot and cold serving counters; * Restocks prepared items on serving counters; * Serves desserts and protein (meats); * Performs general cleaning of the cafeteria and kitchen; * Restocks sauces, dry goods (salt, cassava flour), and napkins in the cafeteria; * Cleans, washes, and sanitizes utensils; * Collects daily samples of all foods prepared at the facility; * Organizes food/products in dry storage, refrigerators, or freezers; * Labels all prepared foods and opened products removed from their original packaging with expiration dates; * Knowledge of food handling practices, i.e., familiarity with Sanitary Surveillance regulations and adherence to hygiene practices to prevent foodborne illnesses; * Completes general worksheets (bread control, temperature logs, etc.); * Uses provided PPE correctly; * Keeps uniform and aprons clean at all times; * Maintains hygiene, food quality, and food safety. **Requirements for the Role**: Completed elementary education. Relevant work experience.
