The operator ensures production targets are met while maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, and operational procedures. **What will my tasks be?** ========================== Within this position, your key tasks will be to: * Accurately monitor process variables (pressure, level, temperature, flow), committing to assist control room operators in understanding process trends, collaborating with technical ideas for production optimization and suggestions to ensure process plant stability. * Operate oil and gas systems with commitment, ensuring oil production meets specifications and legal parameters for produced water discharge. * Actively participate in first-line maintenance, executing preventive work orders, preservation tasks, and corrosion prevention activities. * Proactively identify equipment failures, detect faults, and provide practical and immediate solutions to prevent interruptions. * Report identified field technical issues with detailed explanations and photos using a word processor. Raise failure notifications in SAP. * Monitor the fire and gas detection system, ensure detectors are free from obstructions, verify the fire-fighting system is operational and preserved, and cooperate with the emergency response team whenever necessary. * Supervise contractors during their activities to ensure work orders are executed with quality and safety. * Follow Work Permit (PTW) procedures and risk management practices. **Here's what we expect from you:** =================================== At Equinor, there are some overall qualities we regard as essential. And for this specific position, we are also looking for: * Technical diploma and/or engineering degree in related fields is mandatory. * Minimum of 2 years of proven experience, preferably in pre\-salt fields. * Fluent in spoken and written Portuguese and capable of understanding technical documentation in English. * Strong interpersonal skills. * Knowledge of SAP and work permit systems may be considered an advantage. * Prior experience in combined cycle power production, steam handling, gas compression, gas treatment, gas reinjection, and wet Christmas tree operations is a plus. * Values cooperation and open collaboration as essential ways of working.
