Electrical Engineer

Description

**The Seres Group, in partnership with a public company specializing in strategic project management and the electric power sector, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer.** **Responsibilities:** * Development and supervision of energy generation projects and applied energy solutions; * Technical analysis of electrical systems, power plants, and energy optimization solutions; * Coordination of technical, regulatory, and economic feasibility studies for energy projects; * Development of energy efficiency initiatives aimed at reducing consumption and optimizing costs; * Monitoring of schedules, construction phases, and technical aspects related to the implementation of power plants and energy systems; * Support in energy contract management and liaison with stakeholders in the electric power sector; * Technical coordination with designers, suppliers, system integrators, energy traders, and concessionaires; * Preparation of technical reports, executive presentations, and decision-support documentation; * Technical support in structuring procurement processes for energy projects; * Collaborative work with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, regulation, contracts, planning, and project management. **Mandatory Requirements:** * Completed Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; * Active registration with CREA; * Experience in energy generation, energy efficiency, and Brazil’s Free Energy Market; * Experience in technical analysis of power systems, distribution networks, substations, and generation integration; * Experience in implementation, supervision, or inspection of energy projects; * Knowledge of the Brazilian electric power sector, including regulation and operation of the Free Energy Market; * Proficiency in reading and analyzing electrical project documents, technical memoranda, diagrams, and specifications; * Experience in preparing technical and economic feasibility studies; * Experience in the energy sector, preferably in renewable energy generation; * Willingness to travel. **Desirable Qualifications:** * Experience in self-generation, energy storage (BESS), and hybrid solutions; * Knowledge of solar energy; * Knowledge of energy efficiency and energy consumption management; * Specialization in electric power sector regulation, project management, or power systems; * Technical English. **Working Hours:** * Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM * Workweek: Monday to Friday * Work Mode: On-site **Work Location:** * Ilha das Cobras, Rio de Janeiro, RJ - Brazil Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
