**Job Description:** \\We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong technical expertise to develop and maintain RAG pipelines used by our AI agents. You will build APIs, services, automations, and the entire backend infrastructure responsible for knowledge ingestion, processing, chunking, embeddings, indexing, and retrieval. **Responsibilities:** \\Build end-to-end RAG pipelines: ingestion, cleaning, normalization, chunking, embeddings, indexing, retrieval; \\Develop intelligent chunking services for PDFs, contracts, legislation, and tables; \\Integrate and maintain vector stores (FAISS, Pinecone, Elastic, Weaviate, Milvus); \\Create fast, secure, and optimized query endpoints for AI agents; \\Develop automated database update routines (event-driven or CRON); \\Build hybrid re-ranking services (BM25 + embeddings) when required; \\Implement logging, monitoring, auditing, and versioning of vector databases; \\Integrate pipelines with the internal ecosystem (AgentOS, agents, and tools); \\Collaborate with AI Engineers, DevOps, and Product teams; \\Ensure performance, security, and governance across the entire pipeline. **Additional Requirements and Qualifications, Tools, Skills, Courses, and Certifications:** \\Solid backend experience (Python, Node.js, or both); \\Proficiency in REST APIs, microservices, integrations, and event-driven architecture; \\Experience with data pipelines (cleaning, parsing, validation, transformation); \\Practical knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vectorization, and document structures; \\Experience with vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Elastic, Milvus, Weaviate); \\Familiarity with PDF parsing, OCR, and complex documents; \\Experience with AWS (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, Step Functions, Agent Strands); \\Knowledge of automated testing and CI/CD pipelines; \\Strong understanding of performance, caching, and latency optimization. **MJV Benefits:** TotalPass\\Wellhub; ‍‍‍‍ Group life insurance; Meal voucher / Food allowance; Health and dental plan — Bradesco; Training initiatives: talks, forums, knowledge exchanges, and conversations related to our business.
