The company is seeking a **Mechanical Engineering Intern** to support technical, operational, and administrative tasks within the engineering department, contributing to project development, process monitoring, data analysis, and continuous improvement of activities related to maintenance, production, quality, installation, and performance of mechanical equipment and systems. The intern will have the opportunity to apply in practice the knowledge acquired during their undergraduate studies, developing technical insight, analytical reasoning, organization, responsibility, and teamwork skills, as well as participating in activities involving planning, control, inspection, information gathering, report preparation, and support for engineers and other professionals in the field. Responsibilities and Activities * Support the mechanical engineering team in daily departmental activities; * Assist in monitoring projects, services, assemblies, installations, and mechanical maintenance; * Participate in field collection of technical data, when required; * Support the preparation, updating, and organization of technical reports, spreadsheets, and internal controls; * Assist in failure analysis, identification of improvements, and tracking of technical solutions; * Contribute to monitoring departmental performance indicators; * Monitor preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance processes; * Assist in controlling spare parts, materials, equipment, and technical documentation; * Support reading and interpretation of technical drawings, sketches, schematics, and mechanical projects; * Collaborate in organizing engineering files, manuals, records, and documents; * Assist in verifying process compliance with internal standards, technical norms, and safety procedures; * Provide support for communication between the technical department and other company areas; * Participate in routine inspections, measurements, and performance monitoring of machines and equipment; * Support development of operational improvements, waste reduction, and increased process efficiency; * Perform other related duties as required by the department. Requirements * Currently enrolled in **Mechanical Engineering**; * Availability for an internship during the period agreed upon with the company; * Basic knowledge of **Microsoft Office**, especially Excel; * Interest in technical activities, maintenance, projects, or industrial processes; * Strong verbal and written communication skills; * Organizational ability, commitment, and responsibility; * Analytical capability and capacity for continuous learning.
