Opportunity for hands-on professionals Structured Cabling and CCTV Technician Entire Rio de Janeiro Position involves travel and relocation We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on technical professional to perform installation, maintenance, and support of network infrastructure and electronic security systems across Rio de Janeiro. The ideal candidate must be proficient in structured cabling technical standards and have practical experience with analog and IP camera systems (CCTV). Main Responsibilities Infrastructure Installation: Installing conduits, raceways, cable trays, and pulling cables (UTP and optical fiber) in commercial and residential environments. Structured Cabling: Optical fiber splicing, network cable termination (RJ45, Keystone), and assembly/organization of IT racks (patch panels, cable organizers). CCTV: Installation and configuration of cameras (analog, HD, IP), DVRs, and NVRs (Intelbras, Hikvision, etc.). Maintenance: Diagnosing and resolving physical network issues (cable breaks, poor connections) and basic logical issues (IP configuration, remote access, DDNS/P2P). Documentation: Reading project drawings/blueprints and completing technical field visit reports. Mandatory Requirements Completed high school education (a technical background in Telecommunications, Electrotechnology, or Electronics is preferred). Proven experience in structured cabling and CCTV. Valid Brazilian driver's license Category B (definitive and up-to-date) — mandatory, as the candidate will use company vehicles. Basic knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems (e.g., installing power outlets for racks, power supplies, etc.). Willingness to travel. Desirable Qualifications (Preferred Skills) Certifications: Furukawa (FCP), Intelbras, or NR-10 (Electrical Installation Safety) and NR-35 (Working at Heights) training. Experience in optical fiber splicing and network certification (using Fluke testers). Knowledge of access control and alarm systems. Behavioral Competencies Organization: Attention to detail in finishing installations and organizing racks (cable management). Communication: Professional demeanor when interacting directly with corporate clients. Proactivity: Ability to independently resolve on-site unexpected issues.
