Support for mainframe (JCL) and AWS environments **Posted on: March 19, 2026** ------------------------------------- **Contract Type: Permanent** ----------------------------- **São Paulo** ------------- #### **DESCRIPTION** Responsibilities: * Monitor production operations, ensuring proper execution of processes and environment stability. * Perform initial incident handling, including analysis, logging, classification, and escalation based on severity. * Monitor batch schedules, identifying failures, delays, and deviations, and take corrective actions to restore executions. * Administer and monitor jobs and workflows using Control\-M, ensuring correct scheduling and processing. * Execute and monitor routines in mainframe environments (JCL), including log analysis, adjustments, and operational support. * Conduct environment monitoring and observability, configuring and tuning alerts, thresholds, and dashboards. * Generate and analyze operational reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement. * Provide application support in Micro Focus environments, including monitoring batch executions, analyzing failures, and recovering incidents. * Monitor and provide support for AWS environments, tracking service and workload health. * Trigger and track incident response workflows, ensuring appropriate communication and escalation. * Support stabilization initiatives and continuous improvement of production environments. #### **Requirements / Qualifications** Required: * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related fields. * Experience in operational/production support (NOC, Command Center, or similar). * Knowledge of job scheduling and automation tools (Control\-M). * Experience with mainframe environments and JCL language. * Hands-on experience with environment monitoring and observability tools. * Knowledge of incident analysis and handling (ITIL or similar practices). * Experience in log analysis, failure diagnosis, and troubleshooting. * Basic/intermediate knowledge of cloud environments (AWS). * Ability to work with SLAs, prioritize tasks, and manage critical incidents. * Experience with Micro Focus platforms. Preferred: * Familiarity with other monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Dynatrace, Splunk, etc.). * Proficiency in automation scripting (Shell Script, Python, or similar). * ITIL certification or knowledge. * Experience in high-availability and mission-critical environments. * Exposure to Agile methodologies or DevOps practices. * Understanding of distributed systems architecture. * Experience in Problem Management and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). * English language proficiency #### **Benefits** #### **Applications**
