We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Technician to work on-site (24x7 shift schedule) at one of our clients in Rio de Janeiro – RJ. **What will be your responsibilities?** Technical support services for Datacenter operations, including: * Library management; * Job scheduling and management; * Continuous server monitoring; * Daily backup group monitoring; Support services for libraries, including: * Loading and unloading magnetic tapes into Storagetek 9310 and IBM TS3584 robots; * Initializing labels on newly received tapes; * Executing procedures enabling the IBM robot to recognize newly inserted tapes for processing; * Running scripts for tape backup control and management; * Executing procedures enabling the IBM robot to recognize new backup tapes; * Maintenance of internal 3590E tape drives in the Storagetek 9310 robot; * Supporting user requests for job scheduling (“scheduling”) in the execution queue; * Analyzing and reporting job execution failures (“abends”); * Monitoring servers, storage systems, and backups; * Diagnosing and resolving faults; * Testing 3592 tape drives in IBM robots. **What do we expect you to have?** * Experience with the technologies and activities listed above * Technical education in Information Technology **OR** Completed undergraduate degree in Information Technology or Electrical / Mechanical / Electronic Engineering. **How can you stand out?** * Technical English – Opening service tickets and interacting with vendors **Workplace type:** On-site Working**About NTT DATA** NTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
