Description

Job Summary: Responsible for mounting, dismounting, and repairing tires on heavy vehicles, fleet inspection, inventory control, and maintenance of the work area. Key Responsibilities: 1. Tire repair and vulcanization 2. Periodic inspection and alignment of fleet tires 3. Maintenance of an organized workplace Mount, dismount, and replace tires on trucks, tractor units, container trailers, and heavy machinery; * Perform tire repairs (vulcanization, inner tube repairs, and basic retreading) to ensure service safety and efficiency; * Conduct periodic inspections of fleet tires, assessing usage conditions, inflation pressure, and wear; * Perform tire rotation and alignment as needed; * Manage tire and accessory inventory, reporting replenishment needs; * Refuel vehicles and machinery as required, following safety procedures and regulations; * Maintain a clean and organized workplace, taking care of tools and equipment under your responsibility; * Follow work orders and record completed tasks in the designated system or forms.
