This extensive experience enables us to add significant value to the contracts we undertake, as we deeply understand the challenges and problems faced by public institutions across Brazil, and through the exchange and sharing of acquired knowledge—having participated in numerous successful projects nationwide. **Responsibilities and duties** * Develop and enhance applications using PHP, ensuring best practices in code organization, architecture, and quality. * Design, maintain, and optimize APIs and backend services, applying design patterns and consistently adhering to the MVC model. * Work on systems built with Laravel and CakePHP, proposing structural improvements, refactorings, and performance adjustments. * Develop and execute tests using PHPUnit to ensure stability and anticipate failures before reaching production environments. * Use Composer for dependency management, keeping the project organized and up to date. * Work responsibly with legacy code, driving continuous improvements without compromising current operations. * Contribute to building simple pipelines in Docker-based environments (where applicable). * Support integrations involving Redis, message queues, or caching mechanisms when required. **Requirements and qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree in Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field. * Prior experience with PHP. * Practical experience with Laravel. * Experience with CakePHP. * Applied knowledge of MVC. * Knowledge of PHPUnit for test creation. * Hands-on experience with Composer. * Ability to work with legacy code and propose improvements. **Desirable** * Solid knowledge of Java development. * Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring MVC, and Spring Security. * Practical knowledge of Hibernate/JPA. **Additional information** Hybrid work arrangement in Rio de Janeiro.
