Meal/Voucher Card Transportation Allowance Remote Work Support Health and Dental Insurance Life Insurance WellHub Clavis Academy Training Programs Certification Reimbursement Performance Bonus Senior/Staff Data Engineer **Key Responsibilities:** * Define and design data architecture for complex, large-scale projects, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. * Lead the development and optimization of robust, efficient data pipelines using Python for massive and real-time data processing. * Serve as the technical expert and primary reference for the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), including implementation of advanced observability and analytics solutions. * Develop strategies for data modeling, query optimization, and database management (SQL and NoSQL). * Lead the creation, documentation, and maintenance of APIs for data integration, ensuring high-quality standards and security. * Act as the primary owner responsible for implementing DevSecOps practices across the entire data lifecycle—from development through production. * Lead the implementation and enhancement of CI/CD automation for infrastructure and data pipelines, promoting a culture of continuous delivery. * Conduct critical code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring the team’s technical code excellence. * Mentor and develop junior and mid-level data engineers, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices. * Collaborate strategically with product, engineering, and other departmental leaders to align data vision with business objectives. * Evaluate and propose new technologies and tools to enhance the data platform. * Drive data culture and data governance across the organization. **Education/Experience:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields. A postgraduate degree is a plus. * Proven, solid experience as a Senior Data Engineer or Data Architect. * Advanced, in-depth expertise in Python programming for developing complex data solutions. * Extensive, proven experience with the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) in production environments, including architecture and optimization. * Strong command of relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) database design and optimization. * Advanced experience with data pipeline orchestration tools. * Robust experience creating, documenting, and managing APIs (RESTful/SOAP) for integrating complex systems. * Proven experience implementing and leading DevSecOps and CI/CD practices within data environments. * Leadership in code reviews and promotion of code quality standards. * Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures. * Solid understanding of software architecture concepts and design patterns. * Proven experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and ability to foster agility within teams. **Desired Competencies** * Ability to lead projects and teams, and influence technical decisions. * Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with large-scale data processing and streaming (Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink). * Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, Prefect). * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), particularly data-focused services (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Glue). * Relevant certifications in data engineering, cloud, or security. * Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality.
