Position to cover maternity leave. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Verify and evaluate medical bills related to the portfolio of accredited providers classified as “strategic” due to complexity, billing volume, or relevance to the company; * Analyze inconsistent data through contract tables, preventing improper charges and payments; * Record approved “Strategic” medical bills in the information system, completing the appropriate process closure and forwarding them to the responsible payment area; * Contact accredited providers from the “Strategic” portfolio or other internal departments to resolve pending issues and/or discrepancies, guiding them toward necessary corrections and resubmission for processing (when required), enabling process completion; * Apply claim denials in the information system when data and cost discrepancies are identified after bill review, providing observations on denial reasons directly within the system to ensure process completion and notification to the accredited provider; * Prepare and submit biweekly or monthly Claim Denial Reports to Immediate Supervision, supporting monitoring of medical bill processing; * Identify opportunities for systemic and/or procedural improvements to ensure better operational performance and improved financial results for the company. * Adhere to specific schedules, observing respective deadlines and essential procedures for process closure; * Understand PASA – Vale’s Retiree Health Assistance Plan – offerings, aiming to promote awareness and clarify questions regarding the Association among retirees and employees of Vale Group companies; * Be accountable for the quality, reliability, and performance of resources, services, and information generated by tasks under your responsibility. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate Excel preferred; * Experience with Medical Billing Processing Information Systems; * Basic knowledge of Health Plan Tables; * Experience in processing hospital, outpatient, and medium-complexity medical bills, with minimum 24 months of relevant experience. **Additional Information** **Additional Information:** * Transportation Voucher (VT) provided as needed, with 4% salary deduction; * Meal Voucher (VR) of BRL 19.90 per workday, with 5% deduction on the provided amount; * Health Plan (member only) with fixed deduction of BRL 0.01, Amil 400 QC National; * Life insurance at no cost.
