Job Summary: We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to conduct assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for communication, language, and swallowing disorders, with a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and neurodevelopmental disorders. Knowledge of management and rehabilitation of swallowing disorders We are looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at CBTEA \- Dr. João Côrtes de Barros Institute of Neuropsychiatry, located in Barra da Tijuca. This position includes daily activities such as assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for communication, language, and swallowing disorders, as well as ongoing patient follow-up. Qualifications A clinical practice specialized in the care and follow-up of children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder and neurodevelopmental disorders. Speech Therapy: Experience with speech-language pathology techniques and diagnosis to support patients with specific needs in this area. Communication and Language: Skills to work with speech, communication, and language disorders, promoting effective communication development and rehabilitation. Swallowing Disorders: Knowledge of management and rehabilitation of swallowing disorders (dysphagia) at varying levels of complexity. Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology with active registration at the professional regulatory council. Prior experience working with patients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or neurodevelopmental disorders. Training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a plus.
