We overcome **challenges** to optimize operational performance. **Bring your energy to our business and become part of this success story!** **Responsibilities and Duties** **Stay informed about the locations of supply vessels, standby vessels, and helicopters, and maintain records of this information in the ship’s logbook.** * Monitor cargo and ballast control panels. * Monitor inert gas pressure and oxygen content in cargo tanks. * Monitor all maritime alarms and take actions according to instructions. * Verify whether ballast and cargo valves are functioning properly. Such verification must be recorded in the vessel’s logbook. Any faults identified in ballast or cargo system valves must be reported to the Chief Officer. * Verify the unit’s positioning. * Be fully responsible for all damage control and firefighting equipment located anywhere on the vessel. **Requirements and Qualifications** * When the unit is underway, this professional must hold a valid seafarer’s endorsement/certificate compliant with STCW Regulation II/1 and the qualification of Deck Officer; * When the unit is operating, this professional must hold a valid seafarer’s endorsement/certificate demonstrating compliance with IMO Circular A.1079(28\) – clause 6\.4, as well as the qualification of Ballast Control Operator; * Experience on tankers and/or mobile units. * Fluent English.
