IMPULSER PROFESSIONAL 2776 \- Backend Developer (Mid-Level) | Node.js 1\. Position Summary We are seeking a Mid-Level Backend Developer to work on the development and evolution of mission-critical applications related to the company's operations and digital products. The ideal candidate combines strong execution capability, familiarity with modern architectures, and hands-on experience building scalable APIs, integrations, and services. This is a hybrid role, requiring 4 days on-site and 1 remote day per week, located in downtown Rio de Janeiro. 2\. Responsibilities and Duties Develop and evolve backend APIs and services with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability. Build integrations with internal and external systems. Implement business logic with high quality and strict adherence to product requirements. Participate in technical refinement sessions and solution discussions with the team. Support continuous improvements in application quality, observability, and stability. Collaborate closely with frontend, product, and infrastructure teams. Ensure best practices for version control, testing, and code review. 3\. Mandatory Requirements Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for backend development. Solid production experience with Node.js and NestJS. Experience developing REST APIs — including contract design, authentication, and versioning. Knowledge of modern backend application architecture (Clean Architecture, SOLID, API design patterns). Experience with relational databases and ORMs (TypeORM, Prisma, or similar). Experience with Git-based version control and collaborative team practices. Completed undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields. 4\. Preferred Qualifications Experience with GraphQL for building flexible APIs. Knowledge of Docker for application containerization. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
