WHAT IS IT LIKE TO BE A SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT INTERN AT MSF\-BRAZIL?** You will provide technical support for the development, maintenance, and integration of MSF\-Brazil’s digital channels. Your primary focus will be assisting in the creation of web and CRM flows, API consumption, data manipulation, and continuous improvements to the organization’s digital ecosystem—ensuring technological stability and efficiency for engaging users and donors. **2\. WHAT WILL BE YOUR CHALLENGES?** * Understand the codebase by reading, testing, improving, and raising questions with developers to resolve issues and enhance functionality; * Be organized and respect departmental policies, handling multiple simultaneous requests. **3\. WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE IN THIS ROLE?** * Assist in front\-end development and evolutionary maintenance of pages, forms, and workflows on the MSF\-Brazil portal using HTML, JavaScript, and the WordPress CMS; * Support monitoring and operation of the department’s system integrations, assisting in API consumption and testing, as well as communication with CRM and payment gateways; * Assist with simple database queries, extractions, and manipulations (SQL) to support analyses and targeted communications; * Organize and document technical requests, maintaining daily task tracking and updating project workflows in Trello; * Actively participate in testing routines (functional and integration) to identify instabilities or opportunities for performance improvement; * Support implementation of basic web accessibility best practices, ensuring developed code complies with the organization’s diversity guidelines. **Requirements:** **4\. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO HAVE?** * Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields; * Intermediate level of English; * Intermediate knowledge of programming logic and familiarity with web development (HTML and JavaScript); * Basic understanding of content management using WordPress; * Basic knowledge of databases (SQL queries); * Basic understanding of API operation and integration; * Basic knowledge of software version control; Basic proficiency with task management tools (Trello) and familiarity with agile methodologies. * **5\. WHAT WOULD BOOST YOUR CHANCES?** * Knowledge of Python; Interest in International Organizations and/or the Third Sector. * **6\.
