Job Summary: A professional responsible for operating cranes to ensure precise and safe load handling at construction sites, with emphasis on safety and communication. Key Highlights: 1. Effective communication with signalman and via radio **Main Duties and Responsibilities:** * **Operation:** * Controls crane rotation, trolley, and hoist (lifting) using joysticks and control panels to ensure precise load handling; * Operates crane in compliance with safety regulations; * Lifts and transports construction materials; * Ensures correct load positioning; * **Safety (Checklist):** * Conducts daily inspections before starting work (cables, brakes, hooks) to detect faults; * Performs daily equipment inspections prior to commencement of activities; * **Communication:** * Interprets signalman's hand signals and communicates via radio when necessary; * **Planning:** * Analyzes factors such as wind, load weight, and counterweights to perform safe lifting operations. * Strictly complies with occupational safety regulations; * Maintains equipment in good condition.
