Description: The individual will work as a Welder I at the Porto do Açú (RJ), at GIS Energia e Construção (GISEC). Responsibilities and assignments * Support experienced welders in joint preparation and positioning of parts; * Perform simple welds on benches or light structures, under direct supervision; * Carry out tack welding and preliminary assembly of metal components; * Prepare joints for welding (beveling, brushing, cleaning); * Assist in assembling and securing pieces to be welded; * Handle auxiliary tools such as grinders, angle grinders, and needle scalers; * Work on cleaning, organization, and logistical support in the welding area; * Follow technical, safety, and quality procedures applicable to welding work; * Always work under direct supervision; * Perform only non-structural welds or welds outside critical zones. Requirements and qualifications * Completed Elementary Education, with preference for completed or ongoing High School; * Basic Welding course (Shielded Metal Arc Welding or MIG/MAG); * Previous experience in the role within an industrial environment. * Availability to work at Porto do Açú/RJ 2511200202481878937
