




Job Summary: Professional responsible for the installation, organization, and maintenance of structured cabling and associated infrastructure, ensuring standardization, safety, and quality. Use of equipment such as OTDR, Fluke DSX, and fusion splicer **Job: Structured Cabling Technician (Network Infrastructure)** Execute installation, organization, and maintenance of **structured cabling** (copper and fiber) and associated infrastructure (racks, patch panels, conduits, and cable trays), ensuring **standardization, safety, and quality**, in compliance with technical standards and project deadlines. **Main Responsibilities** * Network cabling installation (Cat6/Cat6A/Cat7\): cable pulling, crimping, termination (RJ45/Keystone), organization, and **labeling**. * Optical fiber: cable laying, termination/splicing (pigtail), polishing, DIO assembly, testing with **OTDR** and power meter. * Patch panel racks: assembly, mounting, organization (velcro/cable managers), grounding, and **color-coding standardization**. * Infrastructure: installation of **cable trays, conduits, ladder racks, raceways**, structural profiles, and accessories. * Certification and testing: use of **Fluke DSX** (or equivalent) for certification; generation of test reports. * Reading technical drawings (AutoCAD/architectural) and execution per **"as\-built"** specifications. * Wi\-Fi and active devices: mounting APs, connecting to switches, identification, and PoE power delivery. * CCTV/Access Control (desirable): cable pulling and identification (UTP/fiber/coax). * Safety: compliance with **NR\-10/NR\-35**, proper use of PPE/collective protective equipment, and safe work practices at height. * Documentation: checklists, photos, measurements, and technical handover. **Mandatory Requirements** * Experience in **structured cabling** * Knowledge of **TIA/EIA\-568, TIA\-606, and TIA\-569** standards. * Proficiency in **crimping/termination** (UTP/STP). * Familiarity with **optical fiber** (termination/splicing/testing). * Ability to read **technical drawings**. * Valid **Class B driver's license** and availability for travel/site work. **Preferred Qualifications** * **Electrical**: basic electrical knowledge to support rack energization, PDUs, and minor infrastructure adjustments. * **Advanced optical fiber**: operation of **fusion splicer, OTDR, optical backbone certification and maintenance**. * Operation of **Fluke DSX\-8000** and generation of certification reports. * Full **rack assembly** (power, grounding, organization). * Experience with **CCTV/IP** and **Access Control** systems. * Valid **NR\-10 and NR\-35** training and certifications.
