Reading and interpretation of technical drawings and hydraulic diagrams **JOB MISSION:** Perform mechanical assembly of equipment and components, interpreting technical drawings, hydraulic diagrams, and pre-established tolerances in accordance with procedures, work orders, and other applicable documents, ensuring all activities are executed safely, with quality, within deadlines and productivity standards, while preserving equipment integrity and resources. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Analyze component sealing areas to identify potential leakage risks and halt activities for correction of such components. * Assist test mechanics by performing support tasks that do not require the operator to handle pressurized equipment or apply pressure to such equipment. * Perform polishing and drilling operations using drills, sanders, and other portable electric or pneumatic hand tools. * Perform torqueing operations using specific industrial tools, provided the individual is qualified and trained for this activity. * Perform functional operations of tools and equipment using hydraulic resources, provided the individual is qualified for this activity. * Perform touch-up painting and painting of letters and identifiers, requiring only brushes, rollers, and sandpaper for execution. * Inspect and assess the condition of hand tools and devices used in assembly and handling tasks, reporting any issues to the toolroom. * Assemble connectors, valves, blocks, and medium-complexity equipment, and clean lines and components using specified materials, in accordance with drawings and specifications. * Move parts and equipment carefully using pallet jacks or overhead cranes to maximize safety. * Organize and safeguard parts used in assembly/disassembly. * Complete monitoring reports, entering parameters used during assembly of parts and equipment to document the entire production process (e.g., Torque Validation and others). * Prepare assembly sequences, verifying part sufficiency and preparing tools and resources for task execution. * Perform assembly/disassembly of connectors, valves, blocks, and equipment. * Receive and interpret assembly instructions and applicable documents per defined procedures, analyzing drawings and pre-established tolerances to ensure correct assembly. * Verify and evaluate the functional condition of parts and equipment, reporting possible discrepancies to management. * Organize and package scrap items from maintained equipment. * Record working hours and necessary data for the manufacturing process, ensuring full documentation of the manufacturing process. * Conduct shift handover via available means in the work area, detailing completed and pending tasks. * Support audit and risk management processes, ensuring availability of information and supporting documents as required by internal control standards. * Participate in continuous maintenance and improvement of quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems, complying with organizational policies. * Maintain the workplace and used equipment clean and organized to foster a conducive work environment. * Safeguard operational equipment by using them correctly and maintaining their condition. * Ensure personal and team safety by following company safety procedures, using personal protective equipment, and preventing accidents. * Perform other duties analogous to this role. * Perform assigned duties under limited and periodic guidance and supervision. **Education:** * Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields (Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, or Electrical Engineering, as appropriate to experience) **Requirements:** * Experience in the Oil & Gas sector (preferred), though experience in similar fields may be considered * Experience with valve maintenance * Maintenance of connectors and actuators * Knowledge of hand, pneumatic, and electric tools * Knowledge of hydraulic systems/actuation * Reading and interpretation of technical drawings and hydraulic diagrams **Certifications (preferred):** * NR-34 * NR-35 * NR-11 * NR-18 **Advantages:** * Experience operating torque machines Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; Hours: 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM (main shift) **Availability for the 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM shift is required, if needed** Benefits International Opportunities Global adventure, broad exposure, and limitless learning await you.
