Job Mission: Act as assistant to the Senior Dynamic Positioning Operator (SDPO) and as support to the Watchkeeping Officer during navigation, dynamic positioning, or anchoring operations; assist in maintaining lifesaving equipment; develop emergency and abandon-ship procedures; and provide necessary guidance to onboard personnel during drills and emergency situations, thereby contributing to navigation and onboard personnel safety. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Report to the Senior Dynamic Positioning Operator, First Officer, and Master. * Operate dynamic positioning equipment under the supervision and direction of the SDPO. * Know and be capable of operating the ballast control system and understand the power management system’s operation. * Maintain the vessel’s draft in a stable condition, at the correct trim and draft, as directed and supervised. * Assist in setting operational parameters for the DP system. * Monitor radar during emergencies or situations requiring immediate information on distances and bearings. * Continuously monitor other vessels approaching without prior authorization within the vessel’s 500-meter safety zone. * Carry out maintenance work orders for lifesaving equipment and other equipment as required. * Plan and transmit SISTRAM messages. * Ensure DP system data is properly recorded. * Notify the Senior Dynamic Positioning Operator of any potential loss of position. * Assist in recording operation and maintenance logs for transducers and transponders. * Prepare transponder arrangements for new locations and submit them for SDPO review. * Conduct, as regularly and feasibly as possible, DP simulator training and address related questions. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Basic requirements:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Nautical Sciences * Certificate of Competency (COC) 2ON — STCW II/1 or II/2 * Valid maritime certification **Preferred qualifications:** * Offshore experience on drilling units * Full DP certification **Additional Information** **Offshore Regime — 14X14** **We offer a comprehensive benefits package including:** * Medical Assistance * Dental Assistance * Group Life Insurance * Meal/Voucher Allowance * Private Pension Plan * Birthday Bonus * Birthday Allowance * Back-to-School Allowance * Newborn Allowance * Daycare Assistance * Gympass Have you considered building your career at a company certified as a *Great Place to Work*, operating in one of the fastest-growing sectors in the country? **Constellation** is the leader in ultra-deepwater drilling in Brazil and, for over 45 years, has continuously committed itself to advancing the oil and gas industry.
