Collaboration with engineering and production for quality **AçoBuilder** is seeking a **Steel Cutting and Bending Machine Programmer** to work in the production department, responsible for **interpreting structural drawings and programming automated steel bar cutting and bending machines**, ensuring components are manufactured precisely and efficiently according to technical specifications. The professional will directly handle production order planning and preparation, contributing to **optimization of material usage, productivity, and quality of fabricated rebars**. Key Responsibilities * Interpret **structural drawings and rebar cutting/bending schedules**. * Program **automated steel cutting and bending machines and stirrup forming machines**. * Input parameters such as **cut length, bending angles, steel bar diameter, and quantity of parts**. * Prepare **production orders** for the cutting, bending, and rebar assembly departments. * Conduct **production planning and sequencing** aligned with construction project schedules. * Optimize **steel bar utilization**, minimizing waste and excess. * Monitor production to ensure **compliance with design specifications and quality standards**. * Perform necessary programming adjustments. * Collaborate closely with **production, engineering, and commercial departments**. Requirements * Experience in **steel cutting and bending for civil construction**. * Proficiency in **reading and interpreting structural drawings**. * Experience in **programming or operating steel bar cutting and bending machines**. * Knowledge of **steel bar diameters, bending angles, and rebar detailing**. * Basic computer and production system knowledge. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in **steel processing companies**. * Experience with **CNC cutting and bending machines**. * Experience in **rebar production planning**.
