




Job Summary: A professional responsible for assisting in loading and unloading materials, operating cranes, cleaning and organizing the work environment, and performing basic maintenance on equipment. Maintenance and Organization of the Work Environment Assist in loading and unloading general construction materials and/or equipment transported by crane using appropriate tools/instruments (hand truck, pallet jack, lashing belts, ropes, etc.). Operate the crane to transport loads from a safe location (Mini-crane) or suspended cabin (Crane), using a button panel or remote control (Mini-crane), hydraulic controls (Crane), radio communication with the ground-based crane signalman/load rigger, safety regulations and technical standards, and appropriate tools/instruments (two-way radio, etc.). Perform cleaning and organization of the work environment (cab and loading/unloading area) using appropriate tools/instruments (broom, shovel, hand truck, bucket, etc.). Perform basic/primary crane maintenance by completing the daily \"Check List\" for operation, reporting any irregularities identified to the immediate supervisor and the Occupational Safety Technician. Participate in crane inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the equipment remains in optimal condition and operational safety is maintained.
