





**RESPONSIBILITIES:** Activities: Perform mechanical maintenance services by assembling and disassembling machines and equipment, repairing or replacing components and parts to ensure their proper operation and extend their service life. Carry out routine inspections to diagnose the condition and performance of mechanical equipment. Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on all equipment and respective accessories, ensuring their proper functioning. Fabricate mechanical assemblies, machines, or equipment according to drawings and the requesting department's needs. Perform maintenance on electric motors, including replacement of mechanical seals, bearings, and bushings. Carry out lubrication, adjustments, and calibrations of all mechanical and pneumatic equipment according to each machine's specifications, using appropriate instruments. Monitor production tests, verifying the proper operation of machines. Check for repair needs in tools used in the production process. Record repairs performed and parts replaced for control purposes. Inspect the condition of bearings and replace them if necessary according to established standards. Maintain records and references of equipment and spare parts. Disassemble and reassemble motors, correcting any defects found. Mark, drill, tap threads, and cut parts manually or mechanically to fabricate parts and machines as required. Perform minor welding and torch cutting tasks when necessary. **REQUIREMENTS:** Requirements: Completed High School. Basic Industrial Mechanics Course.
