Job Summary: We are seeking a professional with solid Mainframe experience, COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS programming skills, as well as Agile methodology knowledge and strong communication abilities. Agile methodology and effective communication **Mandatory Requirements** ------------------------------ ### **Technical** * Solid experience with **Mainframe**, including **batch and online** processing * Programming in: * **COBOL** — reading, maintenance, and development * **JCL** — job creation, modification, and debugging * **DB2** — advanced SQL, basic tuning, and plan analysis * **VSAM** — file creation, maintenance, and analysis * **CICS** — transactions, debugging, and basic commands * Basic understanding of **data structures and algorithms** * Strong grasp of **programming logic** * **Agile** methodology ### **Behavioral** * Clear and effective communication with the team * Autonomy to deliver simple and well-defined tasks * Ability to work within an already-established business domain **Desirable Requirements** ------------------------- * Experience with **Control\-M** or other schedulers * Knowledge of **FTP/SFTP**, connectivity, and file transfer * Familiarity with: * **SDSF** * **SORT** * **RACF** (query only) * Prior experience in **projects** Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
